3P Downpipe Filters
Downpipe filters are rainwater filters which are installed in the run of the downpipe.
There are two different types; downpipe filters which direct the cleaned rainwater through a sideway fitting into the tank. Dirt and waste water is flushed through the run of the downpipe into the canalisation (such as the Rainwater Filter Collector).
And downpipe filters which eject the dirt through a front opening and the cleaned water is directed through the run of the downpipe into the connected system (such as the Rainus Downpipe Filter).

3P Pre-Tank Filters
Pre-tank filters are installed directly within the ground before the rainwater tank.
For protection, they are normally secured with a shaft (telescopic extension - which can be adapted individually to the height difference).
An advantage of the ground filter is its easy accessibilty (plastic instead of concrete).

3P In-Tank Integral Filters
Intergrated filters are rainwater filters which are installed directly within the rainwater tank or a pilot shaft.
Normally they are equipped with an inlet adapter, an adapter for the cleaned water and a tube which leads into the calmed inlet (at the same time support for the filter), as well as an adapter which is directing the foul water into the canalisation.
Only filters for infiltration and possibly garden water do not have a connection to the canalisation. They collect the dirt in a basket which has to be emptied regularly.
